Behind the Lens
Hi, my name is Marianne and I am originally from Norway. Now Brisbane-based photographer, specialising in the art of boudoir and maternity photographs. Before taking up photography as a full-time career in 2014, I worked full-time in the hospitality industry as a chef. I have run and operated a fine dining restaurant with my husband in far north Queensland and I am the proud mum of three adult girls.
I got my hands on my first camera back in 1986 when I was lucky enough to have photography classes in high school. I discovered my love of working with women when I added on maternity photography to my newborn studio. From this I was in love with women’s photography industry and I knew instantly this was what I was meant to do, capture the beauty of all women. I can’t think of a better way to spend my days.
