 The Experience

This will be a relaxing and joyful experience for both mum and baby. When you arrive we will sit down in the studio and have a little chat about the setups and how we will proceed. This is a good time for mum to give baby a little top-up feed. Then we can start by capturing baby by itself while mum have the option to get pampered with complimentary hair and makeup to make you feel luxurious. I have years of experience in handling and soothing newborns. You can sit back and relax and just enjoy it all.

The studio will be quite warm during our session, so it is always a good idea to wear light clothing in summer or layers in winter so you easily can get comfortable. Coffee and tea with light snacks are available for your conveniance. Sessions can last for up to 2.5 hours for single babies and multiples can go slightly longer. Average time spent in studio is just under 2 hours.

We provide everything for your session, outfits for both mum and baby, props and cleanup supplies (wipes, towels). Don’t worry, we got you covered. The studio and all props and outfits are fully sanitised and washed between each session.

Now we finish up your session with family photos and sibling photos. Done and dusted…..

What happens next….

You will invited back to the studio for your ordering and reveal session 5-12 days after the photoshoot. . We will find a suitable time before you leave the studio. Now you just have to wait for that reveal :-)….., because most mums are super anxious to see their photos I will always offer you a little preview on my Facebook page within 24 hours. Ordering session day, this is when you make your purchasing decision. We will go over the photos together and find your favourites, making them into beautiful memories for you. Albums, wall art, keepsake box, it is your choice.

 Behind the Lens

Hi, my name is Marianne and I am originally from Norway. Now Brisbane based photographer, specialising in the art of newborn, baby and maternity photographs. Before taking up photography as a full-time career in 2014, I worked full time in the hospitality industry as a chef. I have run and operated a fine dining restaurant with my husband in far north Queensland and I am the proud mum of three teenage girls. I got my hands on my first camera back in 1986 when I was lucky enough to have photography classes in high school. I discovered my love of working with newborns and babies back in 2014 when I asked to photograph a good friend of mine's new baby girl. From this photo-session onwards I was in love with the newborn photography industry and I knew instantly this was what I was meant to do, capture the beauty of these perfect little newborns. I can’t think of a better way to spend my days.
