The Photographer Behind the Lens
Originally from Norway and now based in Brisbane, I specialise in newborn, baby, and maternity photography. Before photography became my full-time career in 2014, I worked as a chef in the hospitality industry and ran a fine dining restaurant with my husband in Far North Queensland. I’m also the proud mum of three wonderful adult daughters, who have always been my biggest inspiration.
My love for photography began back in high school in 1986, but it wasn’t until I photographed a dear friend’s newborn in 2014 that everything truly fell into place. In that moment, I discovered how special it is to capture the tiny details, the quiet connections, and the overwhelming love that comes with a new baby. From then on, I knew this was exactly what I was meant to do. There is nothing more meaningful to me than preserving these beautiful, fleeting moments for families to treasure forever.
