Hi, my name is Marianne and I am originally from Norway. Now Brisbane-based photographer, specialising in the art of newborn, baby, and maternity photographs. Before taking up photography as a full-time career in 2014, I worked full-time in the hospitality industry as a chef. I have run and operated a fine dining restaurant with my husband in far north Queensland and I am the proud mum of three adult girls.

I got my hands on my first camera back in 1986 when I was lucky enough to have photography classes in high school. I discovered my love of working with newborns and babies back in 2014 when I asked to photograph a good friend of mine's new baby girl. From this photo session onwards I was in love with the newborn photography industry and I knew instantly this was what I was meant to do, capture the beauty of these perfect little newborns. I can’t think of a better way to spend my days.
